Hola Divina!

Welcome! I’m so excited you’re here. I am Ivania and I guide, nurture, and support BIPOC families during their Cuarentana, the first 40 days after birthing a baby, by reclaiming and reintroducing Traditional Indigenous Mesoamerican Postpartum Care focusing on ancestral knowledge and healing.

Do you want to…

Retreat within your home and honor your body and your womb with ceremony and ritual in which our ancestors practiced before us.

Regain both physical and emotional balance as you adjust to life with your new baby with warm nourishing foods that will help keep warm for proper healing.

Rest and heal during your Cuarentena with community level support taking care of you while you get to know your new baby.

Respect, honor, and connect with those in your lineage, your ancestors and their postpartum traditions

Fully feel prepared for life with your new baby and for the best possible Cuarentena experience.

Eliminate stress, worry, and confusion and replace it with clarity, calm, and confidence.

HOLA!

I’m Ivania. Bienvenida! I am a traditional birth worker, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Sobadora dedicated to preserving and sharing the sacred postpartum traditions of our ancestors. For over ten years, I have supported families throughout their pregnancies, births, and postpartum journey’s. I big focus has mostly been supporting BIPOC families through culturally rooted care centered on La Cuarentena and traditional Mesoamerican postpartum closing ceremonies.

In a time when many of our cultural practices are at risk of being forgotten, I am committed to helping our Latino and BIPOC communities reconnect with the wisdom that has nourished generations before us. Through education, ceremony, bodywork, and community care, I offer spaces for healing, remembrance, and empowerment.

Whether you are preparing for birth, navigating the postpartum journey, or seeking to deepen your understanding of traditional healing practices, I invite you to experience care that honors the body, spirit, family, and lineage.

Together, we preserve these traditions for ourselves, our communities, and future generations.
